Punta Prima also has its own Commercial Centre – Punta Marina - with an Eroski supermarket, Wok Buffet (Chinese) restaurant, Captain's Table restaurant (fish and chips, Sunday roasts and breakfasts), Amigos bar, Chinese restaurant, a Pizzeria/Italian, Subway, Timeless fashions with English clothes, shoe shop, Milar electrical, Druni cosmetics, The Card Place, Yu Chinese restaurant is quite fancy, Murphy's Irish Pub and cafe and Emilio's Italian restaurant and take away and of course MacDonalds.

There is also new very large shopping mall in La Zenia, with all the main shopping brands and a good selection of restaurants, bars and children's play zone. Torrevieja also has a good selection of shops in the main street and its own commercial centre and shopping mall.

Alicante is a must to visit, a variety of local and international shops, and you can wander around the attractive international marina or stroll along the long spacious beach esplanade. Alicante has a lovely sandy beach.

For nautical sports on the Orihuela Costa, then there are extensive facilities at the Cabo Roig and Campoamor Marinas. Sailing, wind surfing, water-skiing and scuba diving which are all available.

The shallow waters of Lo Pagan where you can bask in the mud flaps is approx 15 mins drive. For this area The World Health Organisation has given an Award for clean air standards and the superb medical facilities available in the region, and this has made this area a very popular choice for so many people to live.
